Playing around with Timelapse!

This afternoon I managed to get out and had a play with timelapses! its something that i have spent a very limited time playing with before.

The first video is of a coal dredger. The video is 200 photos 5 seconds apart edited and complied together. Taken on my Nikon D5500 with 18-55 Lens.

This dredger was made in Germany in the Early 1950’s and brought over to Australia for use in the Hazelwood mine. The dredger was decommissioned in 1992 and moved to its new home in 1995.

The second is of Loy Yang power station. This was acutely taken from my drive way in Morwell with my Nikon D5500 and 70-210 Sigma Lens.

  1. This is actually quite a joy to watch. I can only imagine the length of time and the patience spent just to make it. I haven’t played with a timelapse video yet, which is weird because iphone has it haha… I think I would make one on my next trip.
